The Netherlands is home to our favourite theme park, Efteling. Not only is there a great range of excellent rides, many of which aren’t like your ‘standard’ theme park ride. But the theming is excellent. It has a mythical and fantasy fairytale theme with some references to the history of The Netherlands. It is open in all seasons.
The Netherlands lies in the temperate zone, which means winter temperatures are about 3°C and summer temperatures are around 17°C. The best time to visit the Netherlands is considered to be between mid-March and September, when the days are longer and brighter.
