For a truly family-friendly holiday destination how about Magic Natura near Benidorm, Costa Blanca in Spain? It is located right next to the Terra Natura animal park and the accommodation itself has some really amazing wow-factor activities. There is also the Aqua Natura waterpark next door which has pools, slides and chutes.
Guests can take the courtesy shuttle bus to Benidorm with a choice of three stops. Benidorm is a bubble seaside resort with plenty of bars and restaurants plus a huge sandy beach. The nearest airport of Alicante is a 40-minute drive away. A stay here includes unlimited access to both the waterpark and the wildlife park.
Highlights
At the hotel, you can take your pick of three swimming pools. One is an infinity pool with views of the wildlife park’s elephants. Kids have a couple of pools and there is a splash park with slides. It is worth noting that the Terra Natura Waterpark is open from April until October. This has a number of slides, a fun children’s splash area and more. Some of the slides have height, weight and age restrictions.

Your Board Basis
Guests stay at Magic Natura on an all-inclusive basis. This includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus some snacks and selected drinks. You can upgrade to an all-inclusive plus package. This is the standard package plus a meal in a themed restaurant for stays up to four nights or in each of the themed restaurants for stays over five nights. Plus it includes a lodge pizza delivery service, a welcome pack, unlimited replenishment of your minibar and a few other benefits.
There are three buffet restaurants to choose from and 7 bars. Two are available to all customers and one is exclusively for premium customers. Plus there is a grill restaurant, Italian restaurant and rice dishes restaurant for all-inclusive Plus guests.
Additional Activities
At the wildlife park, there are more than 1,500 animals from three continents America, Asia and Europe. Animals include elephants, lions, tigers, rhinos, macaws, camels and many others. Around the park, there are some children’s playgrounds and an activity park. Plus you can expect a daily activity programme such as music, shows and feeding times.
You can also upgrade your visit to include a night-time safari trip around some of the wildlife park. The wildlife park is open from April until October. As well as the wildlife park there is also a farm tour where little zookeepers can have a go at grooming the donkeys.
On-site there is a multi-sports court, darts, archery and table tennis. For those wanting to workout, there is a small fitness centre.
Entertainment
The hotel runs an evening entertainment programme with themed nights. This is held outdoors, weather permitting. Little ones have a mini-disco and for grown-ups, there are bingo sessions and shows.
Room Options
Accommodation is in a range of bungalows. They all have satellite TV, a minibar and a wooden terrace for you to enjoy some outside space. Bungalows vary in size from those that sleep up to 3 people and larger ones that can sleep up to 5 or 7 people.
