A customer favourite is the Hotel Golden Bahia de Tossa and Spa situated in Tossa De Mar, in the Costa Brava, Spain. The hotel has a loyal fan base with guests returning year after year. This is mostly because of the facilities and how well the hotel is run. Located on the outskirts of Tossa de Mar it is just a short walk to a Medieval castle and some great cliffside pathways.
The beach is just a 10-minute walk away as well as the cobbled town centre with its traditional houses. Outside of the town, you can expect some of the prettiest countryside in Costa Brava with mountains and valleys waiting to be explored. Close to the hotel, you will find bars, restaurants, shops and a bus station. It is just 45 minutes away from Girona Airport.
Highlights
On-site there is a lovely lagoon-style pool which has a couple of whirlpools and a pirate-themed kid’s pool plus one more pool for the kids. For adults, there is an adults-only roof garden which has a couple of pools and a bar. From October until May guests can make use of an indoor heated pool with a whirlpool bath and sensation showers. Outside the pools are surrounded by sunbeds, parasols and palm trees.

Your Board Basis
You can choose between half-board, full-board and all-inclusive. The all-inclusive package includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks including cakes and ice cream are available late afternoon. Also included are national alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea and coffee. At dinner time you can expect everything from paella to home favourites. There is a selection of bars.
Additional Activities
At the Golden Bahia, there is a huge sports area and runs a full day-time activity programme. This may include bike excursions, films, water volleyball, games, a sports programme and more. Sporting facilities include table tennis, billiards, darts and water polo. Plus badminton, shuffleboarding and rifle shooting and there is a kids’ playroom.
Adults can find some me time at the Spa. Here there is a variety of massages, reflexology, facials, nails and more on offer. There are also whirlpool baths, a sauna and a steam room. Guests will have free wi-fi and the hotel’s reception is open 24 hours.
Entertainment
In the daytime and in the evening there is a hotel-run kid’s club. Children aged 4-11 can take part in fun activities such as games, parties and sports. There are also films, shows and a mini-disco. In the evening you can expect a show every night with magicians, acrobats, music and karaoke.
