Crete is one of Greece’s most stunning islands and a great family-friendly holiday destination. It has excellent weather from May until October and even months around that can be reasonably warm. Crete is the largest of the Greek Islands and has 650 miles of coastline with some beautiful beaches. There’s plenty of history to the island and some stunning mountain scenery. Flight times take around 4 hours and if you are after some of the best beaches then head for the Chania region.
